TCL Brick and block cutter

There are several problems associated with block and brick cutting. When constructing a building from bricks or blocks it is necessary to cut bricks to the required size, for example, positioning at the end of a wall. For smaller building units a skilled bricklayer uses a brick hammer to obtain the required size of brick. For larger units, a bricklayer uses a flat-bladed chisel that is placed over the block with a cutting edge in the desired position, and hits the block using a hammer. When cutting facing blocks, the size of cut must be measured and marked on the block which is then cut. This is time consuming and requires a significant degree of skill and practice to achieve a quality finish.
