I've bought from many sellers and have found huge differences in the way they pack items so I've decided to write this guide!!
Some sellers get some tape, ball it around the item and whatever they can find in the garage to cover it, not a pleasurable experience to open and can often lead in items being damaged.
More experienced sellers buy their mailroom supplies from me and get it right, impress their client and grow their business.My Post Room Supplies

Berlan Thicknesser-planer
I recently purchased a Berlan Thicknesser-planer (Dickenhobel) BDH1800-254 from werkzeuge-online. Good price and it arrived quickly, but on arrival the height adjustment did not work. The right side screw turned with the handle, but the action was not transmitted to the left screw because the bevel gears on the transverse shaft did not engage properly. To put this right, I had to dismantle the transverse drive shaft and grind down the lugs that hold the bearings for the shaft - I used an angle grinder for this. You should not have to take an angle grinder to a new machine to get it working! Taking 1-2 mm off the lugs raised the bevel gears on the transverse shaft so that they engaged the corresponding gears at the bottom of the two vertical screws. So now the thickness adjusting mechanism works OK.
The actual planing action seems to be quite good considering the price of the machine, but if you are considering bidding for one of these, you may have to be prepared to make some such adjustment as this before you can use it.

110V this is a professional site voltage. A transformer is required to convert the 240V supply to 110V. Most 110V transformers and leads are a bright yellow. Failure to use 110V on a building site often results in a fast exit from the site, it is required and broadly excepted as a Safety standard.
240V is the standard 'household' voltage. Most leads are black or blue.

Dye Sublimation Printing and what it is all about
Dye Sublimation and what it is
I have writen this guide to try and help people understand better the process known as Dye sublimation.
It is basically speaking a process where a solid turns to a gas without the transition of liquid.
When printed onto Sublimation paper, Sublimation ink allows for very high quality printing using a heat press, substrates that are polymer based or coated or polyester material.
Given the correct amount of heat, pressure and time you will be left with beautifully printed items, that dont fade or wash out.
Ie, when pressing a mug which has been polymer coated you can run your finger over the image and you wont be able to feel it, this is because the ink has turned to gas when heated, the pores of the polymer coating have open and the gas fills the pores, when cooled the pores close trapping the image behind it, hence it becomes part of the coating.
I get asked all the time about sublimation paper (I sell it), can I use normal ink on this paper to produce heat transfers. NO !!, you need to use Sublimation inks , Artanium UV inks designed for sublimation printing, normal dye inks will not work.
When printing to items that are not polymer coated or polyester based the results will be far lower than that of ones that are.
IE: if you print onto a 50/50 poly/cotton mix shirt the result will be one of very faded poor quality print, you should use a polyester micro weave cotton shirt designed for sublimation printing for great results.
The short of it all is a simple (ish) process which consists
